This is the Newton with most of the extras - two storage cards, power adapter, rechargeable battery pack (that's the one in the Newton - the original
battery holder is shown at the top), plus the little adapter (top right) that allows connection to an old (ie non USB) Mac and the Newton keyboard.
There are no significant marks on the Newton case and there are no scratches on the screen.

(Above) Close-up of the Newton with the back light on and (below) with the lid closed. The photo makes the back light look blue.
It's actually more of a green colour. I'll leave on the device whatever software is already installed. There are some good
games - I like 'WordGrid'. 'WordWar' is really Scrabble. 'Tricorder' turns the Newton into a Star Trek Tricorder device - well,
not really - it just makes it look and sound a little bit like one. 'Simpsons 2000' is a short movie taken from the Simpsons
where the Newton is mentioned. 'The Message' is the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. I'm pretty
sure I upgraded the standard Works package to improve the functionality.

The Newton keyboard. Very useful when you want to input lots of data. It measures 26.5cm x 10cm at the widest points.

(Above and below) This is a soft, leather, official Newton case. The Newton fits into the right half - the lid folds back and
slots through the elastic straps. When closed, the case measures 20cm x 24cm. I never used it much - it's too big.
You could fit three or four of today's mobile phones in the mobile phone pocket on the front!
There is a useful zippered pocket on the back (not shown in the pictures).

This is the case I use the most. It was originally a case for holding a passport and money for travelling but the
Newton fits it VERY well. There are a couple of pockets on the inside, plus a zippered pocket on the back. It's made of canvas.

This photo is just to show that the Newton, originally a 2000, was upgraded by Apple - note the 'MessagePad 2100' sticker.
Unfortunately I lost the stylus a few months ago!

These are all the manuals and software I have. I haven't updated or installed any software for a couple of years, at least. I think
I removed the browser software because I never used it.

For anyone interested, this plate is on the back of the Newton.
